Nothing new...

Hey folks,

I apologize for the lack of posting, truth is, I have been working so much I have not come into contact with anything new. I have a new mix in the making. "The Ugly Dubbling" should be up soon, with mixes "Dis Off-Beat" and "Ragga-Dub" to follow.

I been trying to get more local DJ's to participate in the blog and podcast, maybe help foster and represent a better local scene... We'll see how that goes. I have a slew of unread music posts in my reader, I will try to go through them this afternoon and post anything of worth so check back in a day or so.

Update! Erikcandance, attacked

I don't know how and when, but the code of the widgets I have been using went bad or malicious and was redirecting traffic to an unknown site. For the time being, I reverted the blog back to a basic template I will be looking to revamp the blog sometime soon. You will notice the everythingendeavor.com site is down too, this is because the auto-renew feature failed and the domain went into suspension. E.Endeavor should be back up in the next 48 hours as I have renewed the subscription manually, and I am currently working on a solutions for the blog spot. I will keep you all informed, promise.

E|M - Frat Is Fat: Live mix from a house party

Here is a little snip of a half-ass DJ job I did last minute for a friend who called and asked me to spin after his band played a house party on 14th street. The party was fun, all vibes were good from the most part and certainly had no business drinking as much did, but whatever. What are college parties for? The only issues with DJ'ing a gig like this is that there is always a strict request to keep it mainstream and please everyone... There isn't a scene for dubstep or the more aggressive variations of electro house where I'm at, so I focused on playing more vocal tracks of my library and stick with what people could digest on the spot as opposed to starting off minimal and atmospheric and build into something wide and heavy. Overall, I say the crowd had enjoyed it. They have asked me to come back sometime and maybe the second time around I could dive into something more experimental, heavy, bring some density. Who knows. Comments and critique are welcome, I could sure use the help. Cheers.
