Wicked nice lighting rig, and some sweet tunes too.
For those of you who keep tuning in, we have (3) mixes coming almost ready to post THIS WEEKEND! Two from yours truly, and one guest mix and interview from Charlottesville Local DJ, Bristol with some minimal-house/dubstep... keep ya eyes and ears peeled.
A minimal dubstep track with dark tones and reverb. In 2003 I toyed with the idea of producing my own music, I knew nothing then and still don't anything about sound design or production, but I did this track with reason 2.0 on my laptop during a flight from Boston, to Curacao. I might also note that I created this track in 03, and my exposure to dubstep wasn't until november of last year. I am considering getting into production again, and would like comments and suggestions as I think I will start by trying to revamp this piece. Thanks!
Via MAD DECENT, sweet sweet dubby mix, with some great Reggae overtones... I am always digg'n the Mad Decent productions, something to pass this really drab thursday... Hope ya'll enjoy. "
Paul says,
“I tried to make this mix different from most of the mixtapes that i receive from people. I tried to not make it about new niche genres, super exclusive mp3s or even themed. I just put together a bunch of songs that i have always liked and that I wanted to share. There’s a bit of everything in here and i tried not to go too over board on the weird dial. Anyways, I like this mix, maybe a bit too many sirens but its 8am and i’m too tired to take them out. Hope you enjoy!”
